Who is MiB Clothing?

MiB Clothing was founded with a single mission: to provide
fashionable, extraordinary clothes for the plus-size woman. In a world where
fast fashion often overlooks your needs, we are here to change that. Our focus is on delivering high-quality, well-fitting, and stylish clothing that makes you feel good both inside and out. For over 40 years we've designed clothes exclusively for YOU!

What makes MiB Clothing different?

MiB was created specifically for plus size women long before inclusive sizing became a trend. For over 40 years, we have focused on comfort, fit, quality fabrics, and timeless pieces designed for real life and real bodies. 

Our unique sizing system was developed specifically for upper plus size women and is designed to fit sizes 28–48 comfortably and consistently.

Why did MiB come back?

After the company changed hands and eventually closed, we heard from customers for years asking for MiB to return. We brought the company back because we believed there was still a real need for comfortable, well-made clothing designed specifically for plus size women.

Sizing & Fit

What size range do you offer?

We currently offer sizes 2X–8X using our longtime proprietary MiB sizing system developed specifically for upper plus women after decades of fit development and customer feedback. For over 40 years, MiB has focused on designing clothing specifically for upper plus bodies, including fit through the hips, thighs, rise, and overall comfort and movement. That experience and consistency have resulted in an incredibly loyal customer base of more than 70,000 women and historically very low return rates compared to the women’s apparel industry overall. In pants, we currently offer both regular and petite lengths, with additional petite styles continuing to be added.

How do I know what size to order?

For over 30 years, MiB has used a proprietary sizing system developed specifically for upper plus size women. We are proud to have returned to the trusted MiB sizing and fit that longtime customers have loved for decades. 

Our sizing is designed to fit sizes 28–48 with thoughtfully designed proportions for plus size bodies, including: 

  • Comfortable fit through hips and thighs
  • Proportional rises
  • Ease of movement
  • Relaxed but flattering silhouettes
  • Real world comfort 

We recommend starting with your usual MiB size. Most customers find our clothing relaxed and comfortable without feeling oversized unless noted in the product description. Here is the size chart for your assistance:  

How do MiB clothes generally fit?

Product Information

What if the item I want is sold out?

We know how frustrating it can be when something you love is out of stock! We recommend signing up for our newsletter to stay updated on restocks and new arrivals. You can also follow us on social media for real-time updates on product availability.

Will sold out items come back?

Many of our best-selling items do return, especially customer favorites and core basics. We are rebuilding the line thoughtfully and adding new products regularly.

How often do you release new styles?

We are currently adding new styles monthly, including returning favorites and new styles.

Are more petite styles coming?

Yes, especially in pants, and we will be adding a few petite tops in the future.

Will you bring back older MiB favorites?

Many current and upcoming products are inspired by longtime customer favorites, including heavier denim, natural fabrics, and classic MiB silhouettes.

How do I take care of my MiB Clothing items?

Care instructions are listed on each garment label and product page whenever possible. In general, we recommend gentle washing and lower heat drying to help preserve fit, fabric, and color.

Are your clothes ethically made?

Absolutely! We carefully select our vendors to ensure they meet fair labor standards and use materials that are both sustainable and of the highest quality. We believe that great fashion can also be great for the
planet and the people who make it.

Shipping & Refunds

What is your return policy?

We want you to be absolutely thrilled with your purchase. If something isn't right, here's our simple return policy:  

MiB Clothing Returns Policy - (For US orders - For international orders, please see our international shipping section) 

Returns: 

  1. You can return items within 30 days of the shipping date. 
  2. Items must be unwashed, unworn, and in resaleable condition. Returns are subject to inspection before a refund or exchange is processed.
  3. Outgoing shipping charges are non-refundable. 

How does the $1.98 Free Returns option work? 

If you select this at checkout, the $1.98 option allows you to generate a prepaid return shipping label. 

A few important notes: 

  • Exchanges are always free
  • Return labels are not included in your package
  • Labels are generated online through our return’s portal, and you can print them at home
  • Original outbound shipping charges are not refunded

Do you charge restocking fees? 

No. We do not charge restocking or handling fees.

How long do refunds take?

Once your return is received and processed, refunds are typically issued within a few business days. Depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.

How quickly do orders ship? 

Most orders ship within 1–2 business days unless otherwise noted.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we currently ship to select international locations including Canada, Great Britian (England, Scotland and Wales), and New Zealand. Please note that international customers are responsible for paying all import tariffs, duties, taxes, and fees associated with their purchase. On all return orders, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. Please provide us with an image of the return label or a tracking number.

Are you still printing catalogs?

No, we are no longer printing paper catalogs, but we regularly send product updates, new arrivals, and special offers through email. This allows us to update products more quickly online, while reducing paper waste which is better for the environment.
